Terms and Conditions

Payment

Payment is taken at the time of booking:

In person (CASH or CARD) or

Via a secure online link (CARD ONLY).

Once paid, your session is booked and I will contact you to confirm it.

Please note: your session is not booked until the above process has occurred.

Arrival

It is your responsibility to arrive on time. If you are late, time will be deducted from your appointment. If you miss your appointment you will be charged at the full price of your booked treatment. First treatments require a full consultation. Off-road parking is available during weekday appointments.

Children

Children cannot accompany you to your appointment, therefore please make alternative arrangements for them. Children under the age of 16 are not permitted to receive massage unless special consent is given and a responsible adult (16 or over) is present at all times.

Health Update

Please contact me if you are ill or a new health concern has arisen since your last visit. Your treatment may not be possible until the issue has been resolved or your GP/DR has given permission for you to resume massage.

Accessibility 

Disabled access is limited due to steps. If you are unable to lie down due to health or mobility reasons, please contact me to discuss prior to your appointment as seated massage can be arranged with alternative equipment.

Cancellations

It is at my discretion to cancel your appointment. If you need to re-arrange or cancel your session please allow 24hrs notice before your appointment to avoid full charge. Your session will be re-arranged. If notice is not given 24hrs beforehand, or you miss your appointment altogether, the cost of your session is kept and is not refundable. In adverse weather conditions, I have the right to cancel or rearrange your appointment.

Block Booking

Sessions must be used within a two month period (if a session has to be rearranged). Non-transferable. Payment is taken at time of booking. Payment by cash or card. It is at my discretion to cancel your appointment. If you need to re-arrange or cancel your session please allow 24hrs notice before your appointment to avoid full charge and your session will be re-arranged. If notice is not given 24hrs beforehand or you miss your appointment altogether the cost of your session is kept and is not refundable.

Refunds

Massage sessions are non-refundable.

Online Returns

Serenity Bodywork and Stone Massage wants you to be completely satisfied with your online purchase. If for any reason this is not the case, please contact us to discuss it before returning the item.  
Our online policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned:
Any product that comes into contact with the skin or has a hygiene risk.
Gift vouchers
Opened/used Epsom salts
Essential oil blends
Downloadable software products
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:
Book with obvious signs of use
CD or DVD that has been opened
Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will contact you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 7 working days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at contactserenity@icloud.com.

Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at contactserenity@icloud.com

Shipping
If you are in the local area, please arrange to return your item in person. Alternatively, after contacting Serenity, post your product to: R Barnfield, 52 Langtoft Road, Stroud , GL5 1NJ, United Kingdom

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over £25, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
